Community Outreach
Where is the Kingdom of God? Here and Now! We long to see the evidence of God’s presence in our community. Many of us are involved in the following outreach ministries:
Lancaster County Prison Ministry
The Word of Truth is declared on a regular by Jim Aukamp and his team of ministers at LCP. Follow-up sessions of 'one on one' discipleship with those looking for change in their lives continues. For training and involvement, see Jim Aukamp (717.548.3477)
Operation Transformation
Seeing our region turned upside-down with the life found in Christ Jesus is our passion. Operation Transformation strategically seeks in-roads to prepare the Way for the Lord to work in our community. Joe Bernotsky (717.529.2835) locally represents this mission.
Out of the Box Ministries
Several local campgrounds have opened their doors to Out of the Box Ministries to invite the constituents of the campground to a Sunday Morning worship service. Testimonies, worship, teaching, and children’s activities are available for campers to glean from as they enjoy God’s creation outdoors. Afterwards, enjoy light refreshments and lots of friendship. The Helping Hands
The Helping Hands of LSF associates with the Solanco Maintenance Ministries to provide practical home care for those in need, whether financially or physically. Help is available from the tip of the roof to the leaves under the trees. Contact Tim McMullen to put your hands to work or to request help for a time of need.
Cornerstone Pregnancy Care Services
A baby’s start in life has become a vulnerable place as many women in a state of confusion or need decide to end the baby’s life while in the womb. We have joined with Cornerstone Pregnancy Care Services in many ways to reach these women within our community. To contact the CPCS office: 610.998.2447
Theophostic Prayer Ministry
You have heard the saying “Prayer changes things.” We believe that at LS,F and our experience in seeing God show up through His Son Jesus and bring freedom to the captives is why we believe. Theophostics is simply a fancy word for “God’s Light." This is a prayer journey developed by Dr. Ed Smith to bring everyone out of pain and despair into freedom and life. Pastors Jim Aukamp(717.548.3477) and Ray Deiter(717.786.3890) coordinate prayer ministry for individuals, families, and couples seeking help.
Financial Counseling Team
The strains of financial distress can have a ripple effect into many parts of our life. Often times, though, as we begin practicing the principles of finance that God has given us in His Word, He opens up doors that we never imagined.

Service through Volunteer Emergency Response:
We have been able to minister God’s grace and mercy to untold numbers of those in our community simply by volunteering for our local Emergency Response Teams. The Robert Fulton Fire Company and Wakefield Ambulance Association have faithfully served our community for many years. We are grateful for them and each one from our congregation who have answered the call to ‘prepare the way of the Lord’ and expect God to move miraculously in the face of tragedy.
Here are some other organizations that we have served mankind through:
Mennonite Disaster Service, Mennonite Central Committee,
