Worship
As we worship, we desire and pray that God’s presence comes and visits us. This makes worship very personal. At times, a quiet hush will come upon the group as we treasure this special moment. At another time, many will dance and shout for joy as His glory shines down on us. Some will shout and sing spontaneously in English or in other languages that God gives them. All this can blend together into an awesome expression of harmonious adoration.
We are centered on the Word of God. The various expressions of worship I’ve mentioned here are described in the written Word of God. If you’re interested in checking out what God has to say about worship, here are some places to start: I Timothy 2:8, Psalms 47:1; 95:1-6; 150:4; and I Cor. 14. We expect God to speak to us today as well as through the Bible. If you feel you have a word of encouragement from God to those of us gathered, you may certainly share this word to the moderator and he will allow you to share at the appropriate time.
